Siamo entusiasti di annunciare il lancio di MONSTER (aMbassadors to prOmote sustaiNability in leiSure through a parTecipativE appRoach), un progetto innovativo dedicato a promuovere la sostenibilità in tutti i tipi di eventi sportivi! Il meeting di avvio del progetto si è tenuto giovedì 12 settembre.
Questa iniziativa biennale, finanziata dal programma europeo CERV, ha l’obiettivo di coinvolgere i cittadini europei, permettendo loro di condividere proposte per promuovere e implementare pratiche sostenibili. Un altro obiettivo chiave è sensibilizzare l’opinione pubblica sulla sostenibilità attraverso lo sport, sfruttando grandi eventi (come le competizioni sportive) per raggiungere un vasto pubblico ed esplorando come questi eventi possano essere organizzati in modo più sostenibile.
Fondazione LINKS coordina la partnership, composta da Oltalom (Ungheria), CRN (Germania), ADCS Carvalhais (Portogallo) e CUS Torino (Italia).
Introducing MONSTER: Revolutionizing Sustainability in Sports!
We are excited to announce the launch of MONSTER (aMbassadors to prOmote sustaiNability in leiSure through a parTecipativE appRoach), a pioneering project dedicated to promoting sustainability in all types of sporting events! The kick-off meeting for the project took place on Thursday, September 12.
This two-year initiative, funded by the European CERV program, aims to engage European citizens, empowering them to share their proposals for promoting and implementing sustainable practices. Another key objective is to raise awareness of sustainability through sport by leveraging major events (such as sporting competitions) to reach a wide audience and exploring how these events can be organized in a more sustainable way.
